Future Looks Bright for Young Ndlovu

One of the contenders for the young player of the season and player of the season is Siphesihle NdlovuThe ‘Kwa-Zulu Natal’ born Siphesihle Ndlovu, got his first international call-up to represent the nation in the upcoming ‘4 Nations’ tournament in Zambia.

Siphesihle Ndlovu is one of the players who deserve the call-up, following the great season he has been having in the blue and white jersey of Maritzburg United also attracting interest from the Gauteng Big clubs.

Siphesihle shows determination and passion. He is one player that can orchestrate the match with his ability to play both in defensive and offensive positions. The Maritzburg United player has been praised by the Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pisto Mosimane and other PSL coaches who admire his passion for the game and the character he shows on the pitch, the fearlessness and arrogance, the ability to control the game and close in opponents.

Ndlovu has been a key player in his team helping them to be title contenders, dark horses for this season Absa premiership. The midfielder was promoted to the first team by Fadlu Davis following his impressive game in the Multichoice disk challenge for Maritzburg. 

The young player was the Absa premiership player of the month for January, following his great performances making three assists against Free state stars. The call-up is not only a dream come true for the talented Ndlovu but a great boost the National team and the future of South African football. It is great to see youngsters grabbing the opportunities to play at professional level. 
Ndlovu has been compared to the likes of Andile Jali, Bafana teammates who once played for Orlando Pirates, and an Italian legend Gennaro Gattuso, who now coaches AC Milan; Ndlovu shows a strong resemblance to these two predominantly with his character on the pitch.

What changes can Ndlovu bring in the National team? The spirit of passion, bold character and fearless will help uplift the team spirit in the camp.

Ndlovu will be hoping to lead the team in the centre with Bongani Zungu giving the team more options both in defensive and attack. The two players are one which can strengthen the engine of the team.
