Orlando Pirates will have to wait another season for a domestic trophy. This was confirmed after they were eliminated by Cape-town City in a titanic last 16 clash which ended in a result of 1-0 in favour of City.

The road to the last eight of the competition started on Friday 09 March when National First division side Ubuntu Cape-Town thrashed Amazulu in what was an empathic battle, to claim a spot in the last eight. Ubuntu Cape -town is the only team left from the lower division in this year’s competition.
