CASTER SEMENYA BREAKS COMMONWEALTH GAMES 1,500M RECORD TO WIN GOLD, Picture Supplied. |
In day six of the Competition Caster Semenya has bagged a Gold in the 1500m Final breaking personal record with a record time of 4:00.71, which looked easy for Semenya as she left her opponents exhausted in the tracking field.

The South African team has shown great performances so far in the tournament with 22 medals in total with 10 Golds, 6 apiece for silver and Bronze.
With Chad Le Clos bagging his third gold on day five. Whilst in the tracking field, Henricho Bruintjies and Akani Simbine grabbed 1 and 2 respectively in the 100m Men’s final. Later during the week, they will be in Action on the 4x100m men’s relay.
Swimming new Queen Tatjana Schoenmaker also bagged double Golds in the 100m and 200m breaststroke. Cameron van der Burgh’s 50m breaststroke gold also makes catalogue.
