On Tuesday the 3rd April, Bidvest Wits entered the top 8 after a 2-1 victory over Maritzburg Untited. They however, sit on 32 points, same number of points as Bloemfontein Celtics who occupy the 9th position. It is the superior goal difference that gives the Clever Boys an upper hand.
Ajax Capetown’s woes continues as they face relegation this season as they went down 2-1 at the hands of Amazulu. They remain 15th position with 24 points after 25 rounds.

The Brazilians and Buccaneers occupy the first and second spots respectively with a point separating the two sides.
Bottom of the table placed Platinum Stars failed to take advantage of Ajax’s loss when they were held to a goalless draw by Baroka FC at home, Royal Bafokeng Stadium. They remain on 18 points after 25 matches played. The relegation axe looks even more real with every game the Phokeng team plays.
The team that completes the bottom 3 is Tshwane side Supersport United. They lost 1-0 to Polokwane City as their winless streak continues.
The game between Kaizer Chiefs and Free State Stars ended 1-0 after Chiefs stole the 3 points in the dying minutes all thanks to a goal from Teenage Hadebe at the Goble Park stadium.
