The Moshoeshoe Street in Sebokeng was brought to a stand still in the early hours of Monday the 24th of September 2018.
The residents blocked this popular street following a horrific accident that took place on Sunday evening leaving a woman believed to be in her early 30’s brutally dead. The lady was hit by a car on her way back home from a tuck shop.
“The incident was bad and terrifying, the lady was coming from a tuck shop and was knocked down dying instantly with some of her body parts including a hand and a feet being scattered lose all over the place. The rest of the body went through the windscreen and landed ontop of the passenger. We edge the government to put few more stop signs or robots to ensure our safety” said one of the witnesses.
It is alleged that the driver tried to flee from the scene but stopped the car meters away from the actual scene spot after being aware that the lifeless body of the deceased was stuck in the windscreen.
“We are working on the matter and we cannot reveal the name of the deceased nor the charge upon the driver just as yet,” said one of the policeman on the scene.
