Redi Tlhabi joins the SABC

Former Talk Radio 702 presenter, Redi Tlhabi is joining the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), announced the public Broadcaster.


Tlhabi will host a new current affairs show named “Unfiltered” which will be aired on Sunday, 07 October 2018 at 20:30.


The show is set to tackle topics based on crime, education, corruption, politics, social and community issues.


“I have always responded positively to conversations that help us confront the ills of our society and affirm our quest for justice, democracy and accountability. It is with that vision that I begin this new chapter with the SABC,” said Redi.


Meanwhile, Redi was offered an economic journalism fellowship at Columbia University in New york. however, she had to put the move on hold following her mother being diagnosed with brain tumor.


She told her followers on Twitter that she will leave when her mom is okay.


“my mom has a brain tumor. Major operation. She will need months to recover. I’m not getting on that plan intil she is 100%.”
