Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Lebogang Manyama has been involved in a car accident on Tuestday afternoon.
a statement released by Kaizer Chiefs on their official website confirmed that the player was from the training session, going home when the accident happened and was rushed to hospital.
“Kaizer Chiefs attacking midfielder Lebogang Manyama was involved in a car accident on Tuesday afternoon. The player was driving home from training when the incident took place,” reads a statement on the club’s website.
“He was rushed to hospital for examinations and x-rays. Doctors treated him for minor injuries to his knee and elbow and he has since been discharged.
“Manyama will be assessed further by the doctors to determine the extent of the injuries and advise when he will be fit to train again.”

Amakhosi will on Sunday go head to head with Black Leopards at the FNB Stadium in the opening round of the Telkom Knockout. it is quite clear that Manyama wont be available for the encounter following the accident he had on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Chiefs are currently third on the log, two points behind the second-placed Buccaneers, having collected 14 points in their 10 matches so far, which have only yielded three wins.
