Kaizer Chiefs have provided an injury update ahead of their encounter with Black Leopards.
The Naturena based outfit are set to take Lidoda Duvha in a 2018 Telkom Knockout Cup round of 16 clash at the FNB stadium on Sunday, 21 October 2018.
Amokhosi’s striker Lebogang Manyama was recently involved in a car accident and has been ruled for six weeks according to the clubs official website.
Meanwhile, Leonardo Castro and Dax Andrianarimanana will also not be available for the encounter. Castro is still nursing an ankle injury while Dax recovers from a calf strain.
“Both Castro and Dax are progressively improving,” the club’s physiotherapist David Milner said.
Milner further added that Khama Billiat picked up a back injury while on national duty with the Warriors of Zimbabwe.
“Khama has to be assessed for a back injury,” Milner said about Billiat.
Lastly, there has been some positive news about Joseph Molangoane who is no longer on crutches and is undergoing full rehab.
He broke his leg during the MTN8 clash against Free State Stars at the FNB Stadium two months ago.
