Amakhosi news: Ramahlwe Mphahlele returns to field

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the return of Ramahlwe Mphahlele.

The star was injured in an encounter against Golden Arrows in Durban on December 1 last year. He Made a comeback this past Saturday in Chief’s MultiChoice Diski challenge against Chippa United, where they saw the back of the net 4 times and Chippa only once.

Chiefs reserve team coach, Arthur Zwane told The Citizen that his plan was only to field him for half of the game but he twisted his arm.

“I was going to take him off at half-time, but he was feeling good and wanted to continue playing,” Arthur Zwane told The Citizen.

“But we have to be careful with him, we don’t want him to get injured again.”

Meanwhile, Manyama has a torn knee ligament and is set to be on the sidelines until April.
