Durban Police are on high alert this morning following a student protest in Durban on Monday.

Ethekwini Metro spokesman Senior Superintendent Parboo Sewpersad said they had received information that students were planning a march to Durban’s city hall.
Durban Police are on high alert this morning following a student protest in Durban on Monday.
According to reports, University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) students took to the Street and burned their metal bed frames with petrol last night.

Ethekwini Metro spokesman Senior Superintendent Parboo Sewpersad said they had received information that students were planning a march to Durban’s city hall.
However, the police were called to monitor the situation.
