Students’ demonstrations were quickly halted by the University a week ago by suspending classes while negotiating with the student leaders. Student grievings included funding issues, accommodations and registration blocks.

“After successful talks with TUT’s Student Leadership (Transitional IRSC and the six Campus SRC structures) today, TUT Management is pleased to announce that all academic, administrative and support activities, will resume at all TUT campuses tomorrow, 20 February 2019”, University said in a statement.
The university extended the registration deadline to Friday, 1st of March 2019.
