Head coach Thabo Senong has reminded the National under-20 side, Amajita to remain humble because their job at the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations is not done.
Amajita managed to beat Burundi 1-0 in their final Group A encounter on Friday in Niamey, Niger. They will no go head to head with Senegal in the Africa Cup of Nations under-20.
“I made the players aware that we need to remain focused and that our job is not done yet,” Senong is quoted as saying on the Safa website.
“We still need to be performance driven because having such an attitude will help us in pushing for a positive result in that match.”
Senegal has been the most competitive attacking team on the tournament having scored nine goals in the group stages.

“We have a good plan, we are playing a very tough opponent in Senegal. They have not lost a single match. It won’t be easy, but we believe in the boys. We believe in our game plan and we will make it hard for Senegal to score and we will encourage our players to create more chances.
“We don’t have any injuries at the moment, which is good, we are spoiled for choice.”
