Academic activities at the Tshwane University of Technology will remain susupended, while the management holds a meeting.
TUT deputy Vice-chancellor, Professor Stanley Mukhola says the university is doing all it can to deal with the issue.
“Their issue is if there has been equalisation on book allowances, why can’t there be equalisation on meal allowances? They also say to the fact that if the student has NSFAS and you stay at home, you need to receive the meal allowance but the government said no,” Mukhola said.
