Cabinet Announcement Postponed

The Presidency has dismissed media reports that the much anticipated Cabinet announcement will be made on Monday, May 27.

His spokesperson, Khusela Diko said the Office of the Presidency said that the announcement will take place “later in the week”.

“Such announcement will be made later on in the week. Once the president has conducted his deliberation and consultation, he will make an announcement in this regard.

“President Cyril Ramaphosa is emphatic that the new cabinet will be composed of men and women who possess the necessary skills, experience, representativity and commitment to the public services that will take the work of the 6th administration forward, ” said Khusela Diko said.

Ramaphosa was sworn in by Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng in front of a crowd thirty thousand people, including African dignitaries at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria on Saturday.
