Fans Furious Over DJ Fresh suspension from Metro FM

Fans of Metro FM presenter DJ Fresh, have turned to social media to voice their frustrations after tuning into the Fresh Breakfast Show only to find that the presenter was not on air.

Several reports suggest that DJ Fresh has stayed away due to a scuffle he had with his co-host Relebogile Mabotja, however, SABC spokesperson Vuyo Mthembu has denied the reports. Mthembu did confirm that DJ Fresh had been suspended until further notice.

“Reports about a scuffle between DJ Fresh and Relebogile are not true. At this stage, the SABC can only confirm that he has been unscheduled on Metro FM until further notice.” Mthembu went on to say that the matter was between the SABC and DJ Fresh, “we are not in a position to comment further,” Mthembu added.

Fans have called for the radio hosts return, since Monday morning. #BringFreshBack has been trending on social media, DJ Fresh hasn’t made any inputs regarding the matter.
