SABC’s Morning Live news presenter Leanne Manas is celebrating 15 years at the show.

Manas (44), who joined South Africa’s longest-running breakfast programme, SABC 2’s Morning Live in 2004 is celebrating her 15 years of broadcasting news with the morning news show.
Throughout her career, Leanne has worked with Radios such as Algoa, Jacaranda FM, SAfm and East Coast Radio. Manas started her career in television in 2001, anchoring the Essential Business Channel Summit TV until 2003. She also hosted two SABC 3 programmes, Business Update and Business Focus.
The veteran news presenter was a co-host for a long time with the deceased television personality and news presenter Vuyo Mbuli. She holds a BA (Hons) in English and Communications and a diploma in Speech and Drama from the England based Trinity College London.
“I’m not sure where the time has gone but what an absolute privilege it has been to be with you [MorningLiveSABC] through my life’s major milestones and allowing me to be a part of yours South Africa”, Manas wrote on her personal Twitter account.

She is also appointed the Goodwill Ambassador by UNHCR, the United Nations Refugee Agency in January 2019.
