Here is my story on #PowerBreakfast this morning. It’s Finance Minister @tito_mboweni‘s shoes. And like I said, @mabena_bob and @iamthabomdluli, I am willing to donate polish to the minister. #NationalTitoDay pic.twitter.com/N6DjG1Fbmbโ A Dog That Bites (@SkepeMatsebane) October 3, 2019
Dear @tito_mboweni It is cringeworthy to go around pretending youโre something youโre not. This fetishisation of looking poor is annoying. Donโt you think itโs difficult for people who are poor to see you wearing those old shoes as some sort of ironic statement?๐ท๐ท๐ท๐ท๐ท๐ท๐ท๐ท๐ท pic.twitter.com/vx8mveoXjcโ Zenoyise John (@ZenoyiseJ) October 2, 2019
