Gauteng MEC for Education Panyaza Lesufi has advised Mmusi Maimane to ditch the DA.
This comes after, Johannesburg mayor Herman Mashaba announced his resignation from the Democratic Alliance (DA) on Monday.
The tweet from Lesufi read: “Mjita @MmusiMaimane Ke mathata! Slyaeza!”

The system is dealing with him very decisively.— Daniel Veneck🇿🇦 (@Daniel38983379) October 21, 2019
This is not the first time the MEC has taken shots at the leader of the DA, last month he slammed Mmusi saying he should not use his name “to please racists”.
This is after Maimane used his Heritage Day speech to take a jab at Lesufi for criticising an Afrikaans “university” that is set to open late next year.
