The Pietermaritzburg high court in KwaZulu Natal delivered what many would call swift justice.
Earlier on Wednesday the court handed down a judgement of four life sentences to a father who killed his four children. Sibusiso Mpungose, a 44 year old from Wyebank, Durban was found guilty and received 4 life terms for the murder of each child.
Mpungose picked his children from their school in September and went away with a taxi to strangle them. He claims that his wife, Xoli Mpungose had been cheating on him and she later filed for divorce.
After all this ordeal, Mpungose contemplated on what would be the best way to getting even with his wife. There after he committed these murders where one of the children, his step daughter was found hanging and dead. Since the death of these children, Xoli Mpungose, a teacher by profession and mother of those children has not been able return back to work since this whole nightmare started.
