President of the EFF, Julius Malema warned president Ramaphosa to either fire minister Pravin Gordhan or the State of the Nation Address in February will be disrupted.
Malema made the remarks during his address at the Mamusa Local Municipality in North West on Sunday afternoon.
“I want to tell Cyril Ramaphosa today that if he can’t fire Pravin before the state of the nation address, the state of the nation address shall be about Pravin,” Julius Malema said.
“We will stand up there. We will stop him from speaking. We will tell him you must fire Pravin because we must protect South Africa’s assets”
Malema also warned Ramaphosa that if he does not fire Pravin, he (Ramaphosa) will have to go.
“If Ramaphosa is not prepared to fire Pravin, then Ramaphosa must go,” concluded Malema.
The president has booked Thursday the 13th of February as the SONA 2020 day.
