Economic Freedom Fighters leader (EFF), Julius Malema visited the family of the late Enoch Mpianzi on Wednesday.
The Parktown Boys’ High School pupil drowned during a camp at Nyati Bush and River Break Lodge last week.
Julius Malema offers free legal help to family
Malema said the school and the resort should account for the incident and added that EFF would assist with legal costs and arrangements for the funeral.
“As the EFF we have taken a decision to assemble a legal team, which is yours. It’s not [the] human rights commission. No one can ask any question about it.
“The family has to have its own lawyers, which you can give instructions and there won’t be any form of restrictions … You don’t have to pay anything for that – they volunteered themselves,” he told the family.
The EFF shared several photos and videos of the visit
