Netflix’s first original African series, Queen Sono’s official trailer has been released.
This follows a year after the streaming giant announced the news of the show.
Queen Sono is starred by Pearl Thusi, who will play a top spy in a South African agency who must tackle dangerous cases while facing the changing relationships in her personal life.

The series created by director Kagiso Lediga and Tebogo Malope includes all-local cast.
The cast includes Vuyo Dabula, Sechaba Morojele, Chi Mhende, Loyiso Madinga, Rob van Vuuren, Kate Liquorish, Khathu Ramabulana, Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa and Abigail Kubeka.
Meanwhile, Queen Sono premieres globally on 28 February 2020 on Netflix.
