On Friday morning, ANC parliamentarian Boy Ramabolo penned down his apology letter to the Malema family. This was after the allegations he made that EFF leader Julis Malema abuses his wife Mantoa.
Mamabolo’s apology letter later got deleted.
“I would like to take this opportunity to apologise and retract the insensitive statements that I have made in Parliament and outside regarding gender-based violence which was allegedly happening in your household,” Mamabolo wrote.
Julius Malema yesterday apologized to Ramaphosa for also citing that the president abused his former late wife. Meanwhile, the Malemas and the president seems to have found a common ground, it still unclear what Malema and Mamabolo’ stand is.
During the reply to the State of the Nation debate, Ramaphosa expressed how the allegations made by Mamabolo were ‘unfortunate’. The president also urged the two parties to end the tension.
The Malemas through their attorney has since sued Mamabolo millions the remarks he made.
