King of the Abathembu, Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo has been arrested Friday morning. He was arrested after a series of assault events unfolded. Reports say the king had been carrying a machete and a crowbar.
Among those assaulted by the king was his son, Azinathi Dalindyebo including the family.
King Dalindyebo was released on parole on the 23 of December, following President Ramaphosa’s Day of Reconciliation speech.
According to his brother, Prince Siganeko Dalindyebo, the king has always been an instigator.
“He broke our legacy, chased away the family the standing of the Royal house, “Prince Siganeko said.
“Let the law takes its course. Let him be charged. The government must save Abathembu from the distraction of an individual.” he added.
