Independent Investment strategist, Magnus Heystek said government’s rules on lock-down are not clear and that has so far created confusion among citizens.
“Rules are not clear so that’s why there is confusion. Cele said on Radio Jacaranda that walking, jogging and cycling within estates are allowed. We are just looking for clear rules,” he said.
Heystek also argued that jogging, walking and cycling are encouraged in other countries.
“In the UK, France, New Zealand and many other countries cycling, walking and jogging are encouraged as long as people practice social distancing,”he said.
The prominent Investment commentator also believes that the government is showing double standards on the issue of social distancing.
“In 4 days from now, millions of people will travel to Sassa pay points to collect their cash and then go and shop. Double standards,” said Heystek.
