Survivers of the deadly Eastern Cape bus crash have confessed to authorities that they warned the driver against speeding, Transport Department said.
The crash has left atleast twenty-five people dead, including the driver and 60 were reported injured.
The bus was travelling from Centane to Butterworth when it plunged down an embankment.
Eastern Cape Transport Spokesperso, Unathi Binqose, speaking to EWN, stated that passengers asked the driver to reduce his speed.
“They said they had warned the driver from driving at very high speed and driving recklessly, but he did not heed any of their calls,” he said.
