Nathi Mthethwa, the minister of Sports, Arts and Culture has denied that he had direct contact with the South African Netball president Cecelia Molokwane who recently tested positive for COVID-19.

This came after Mthethwa was asked if he was going to self quarantine and do tests for corona virus since he had been in a meeting with Molokwane who confirmed that she tested positive for the virus after her recent business trips between United Kingdom and Scotland.

“I’m fine”. Mthethwa added that the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) team “came and there was no contact from my side,” he said.
