In an effort to curb the spread of Coronavirus, the SANDF and SAPS members are punishing whoever found not obeying the lockdown rules.
Vidoes of SANDF members forcing people not obeying lockdown to do squats and push-ups are making rounds on social media and has got people questioning if the soldiers are abusing their power or not.
President Cyril Ramaphosa announced a 21 days country lockdown which started on Thursday 26 March 2020.
The videos circulating on social media shows soldiers slapping and punishing people in the streets. Some people on social media supported the tactics of the military in enforcing the lockdown, many said their actions were inhumane.
