The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) issued a ‘special’ warning to non–essentials companies that are forcing their staff members to work during the country’s 21 days of national lockdown.
“We call on all employees, who are being forced to work during this #NationalLockdown or to sign leave forms to send us a DM on Twitter with the company name and address. So that we can give them a Nice Special Visit,” The EFF announced.
A number of companies were named on the party’s million followers Twitter page.

- Amazon Development Centre
- Value Logistics
- York Timber
- Edge Field Marketing
The Red Berets also warned the Ackermans Pharmacy in Primrose, Germiston for ‘overly inflated the price of masks’ The party says they cannot sit and watch as the ‘capitalists are thriving at the expense of the lives of people’.
South Africans are bracing up for the 21 days national lockdown ad directed by the president on Monday evening.
Both South African Police Services (SAPS) and the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) have been deployed to monitor the streets during the lockdown.
