The Wits University on Wednesday was hit with yet another student protest in the country. Students are protesting what they call homelessness in the institution.
Wits SRC President Thuto Gabaphethe about 200 students are still in need of accommodation resulting to them sleeping in laboratories and libraries.
This morning before the strike took-off, videos speculated from Wits University SRC showing students sleeping on the floor in the early hours of Wednesday.

“A storm is coming. It cannot be that under our leadership students are subjected to these inhumane conditions,” says the Wits SRC account.
“When we resort to other measures we do so because we have exhausted all other forms of engagement,”
