Drake has released a new song ‘Toosie Slide’ which is accompanied by a video which reflects the impact caused by COVID-19 pandemic on humanity, the Toronto streets are seen literally empty as people have gone in isolation.
The rapper is seen in the video grooving down the empty streets that have been vacated as the COVID-19 global pandemic heightens.
Drake’s face is partially covered throughout the video as he moves around flaunting inside his $100 million mansion where he is self-isolating.
This epitomizes the current situation around the globe where people are seen moving around wearing masks and gloves. Those empty streets in Toronto exposed in the video are not peculiar at all, people are vacating the streets everywhere as a measure to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
“It go right foot up, left foot slide, left foot up, right foot slide. Basically i’m saying either way we bout to slide,” those are some of the lyrics to the song.
Toronto has set bylaw of two meter rule in parks as Ontario Province has recorded 3,210 cases, 92 COVID-19 related deaths as of Thursday 2 April 2020.
