South Africans were in stitches from last night following President Ramaphosa’s blunder while putting the mask on during his speech on Thursday evening.
Ramaphosa tried to put on his mask after the address on LIVE television broadcast but the mask did not give a chance. The president ended up covering his eyes instead of the mouth, and fixed a little later.
It took a few minutes before he was trending on social media and the #MaskChallenge leading trends.
While on a light mood, Ramaphosa joked and said he will open a TV channel to teach those who laughed at him yesterday.
“I’m going to open a TV channel, where I am going teach people how to put on a mask,” President jokingly said.
