170 new coronavirus cases today, and 65 total deaths cases
The ministry of health in South Africa has announced 7 COVID-19 death cases today on Wednesday 22 March 2020. The total death cases stand at 65, with the total coronavirus confirmed infections at 3,635
“Today, we regrettably report 7 more COVID-19 related deaths. Five of them occurred in the Western Cape and two in KwaZulu-Natal. This increases the total to 65.We express our condolences to the affected families&appreciate the health workers who treated these patients,” The health department announced.
Meanwhile, Minister of Health Dr. Zweli Mkhize says the total number of tests conducted to date is 133, 774, of which 6, 868 were done in the last 24 hours.
