Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA) Nkosazana-Dlamini Zuma announces things that will not be allowed in Lockdown Stage 4.

South Africa will be moving from Stage 5 lockdown to Stage 4 on Thursday midnight. As of the 1st of April, the country will allow a partial opening to some economical activities including the clothing industry, mine operations, food retailers including restaurants (through deliveries). Schools are also partially reopening for Grade 7 and 12 leaners.

Every sector opening will be required to be ‘COVID-19 ready’. The government says sectors that will be opened and not comply will be closed.
