Zwelinzima Vavi released from hospital

Saftu general-secretary Zwelinzima Vavi has been discharged from hospital after admission for coronavirus.

Vavi announced that he tested positive last week and was admitted on Sunday.

On Tuesday morning, he announced on Twitter that he has been released.

“Resting at home now but still in isolation. Will test on Monday but I remain positive that victory is certain! Thank you all of you for so much love and solidarity! My wife and seven-year-old boy have shown no symptoms whatsoever!”
