EBNewsDaily has been informed that Mamelodi Sundowns head coach has signed a new contract extension, ending speculation around his future with the Brazilians come end of the season.
Indications are that Mosimane has agreed to a long term deal, which the club, has yet to confirm. It is understood the coach may have in fact signed the new contract late last year but the negotiations hit a deadlock.
Mosimane said last month that he was happy at Sundowns, and his contract wich is expiring in June 2020 was “not a big issue”
The former Bafana Bafana coach has been instrumental in molding Sundowns into one of the most formidable sides on the African continent.
The 55-year-old won the African coach of the year accolade at the 2016 Glo Caf awards in Abuja Nigeria after guiding Mamelodi Sundowns to league glory in the 2015/16 campaign and claiming the Telkom knockout trophy.
