DA Leader John Steenhuisen says the Democratic Alliance (DA) is taking the government to court over various regulations that do not make sense nor resonate with many South Africans.
DA says on Friday 15 May their lawyers will be filing court papers challenging the constitutionality of the Disaster Management Act.
“We are asking South Africans to assist us in this fight to protect our democratic freedoms. We have to do this, and we have to do this now,” DA said
“South Africa cannot afford another two weeks of hard lockdown. It is destroying thousands of businesses and millions of jobs and lives,” they added.
