Alcohol must be banned until level 1- Dlamini Zuma

Another rumour has emerged saying minister of COgTA, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma is said to be advocating for a ban on alcohol and tobacco until level 1 of the national lockdown.

It’s said that she arrived armed with academic papers at an NCC meeting arguing against the sale of tobacco and alcohol during the lockdown.

This is taking place even after an agreement had been reached to lift the restrictions on tobacco and alcohol sale under level 3.

Differing views regarding the unbanned of alcohol and tobacco are surfacing lately withing government circles since the institution of the lockdown levels.

It remained to be seen how things will pan out.
