A loyal dog of a deceased Covid-19 victim shocked hospital staff after waiting three months for his owner at a Wuhan hospital.
The dog named Xiao Bao (Little Treasure) arriverd at the hospital with his owner who was admitted to hospital.
According to the Daily Mail, the dog’s owner passed away after five days. The dog refused to leave the hospital – and waited three months. He was fed by hospital staff during his virgil.
A woman who found dog at the dog at the hospital cafeteria said: “He never left the hospital. It was incredibly touching, and so loyal.
“Every morning when I opened up (the store), Xiaobao would be there waiting for me. He saw me off at the end of each day.”
Xiaobao was taken by the Wuhan Small Animal Protection Association, to help him get a new home.
