The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has shared conditions which the government should fulfil before the re-opening of schools and the economy.

This comes after the minster of education, Angie Motshekga announced that schools will re-open on 01 June.

On the statement, the EFF says the lockdown must continue with a guarantee of food for all, including payment holidays for all workers. The party also says the financial sector must notbe allowed to continue sabotage of the lockdown by not giving all workers payment holidays.

On re-opening of schools, the party led by Julius Malema compiled non-negotiable conditions to be considered. One of the conditions is to guarantee quality healthcare facilities and systems for all schools.
