Black Leopards are going all out to ensure that Joseph Mhlongo doesn’t leave Lidoda Duvha at the end of the season when his contract with the club comes to an end.
According to player representative Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi of Rush Hour Sports Management Leopards had increased their efforts to try and persuade Mhlongo to sign a new contract.Leopards have tabled an attractive new two- year deal.
“What has been delaying the talks is the desire for Mhlongo to play regularly and it seems his wish has come true.
“The team has since offered him a much improved two -year contract and he is still looking at it. However with the way things are at the moment, they loo positive for both parties,” Mulovhedzi said
Mhlongo’s current contract at Thohoyandou based side comes to an end in June,2020. The 29 year old does want to play in Gauteng,he has been linked with a move to Highlands Park where he would reunite with former Black Leopards captain Marks Munyai.
