JOHANNESBURG: The SAPS has confirmed on Monday that the Diepsloot Police Service Station has been temporarily shut down in order to decontaminate after one member tests positive for COVID-19.
Communities who receive services from the station are advised to use the Metro Department Centre which will be operating opposite the Diepsloot Police Station, corner Buffalo, and Ingonyama Street, Extension 2.
Telephone lines at the station will not operate for the duration of the closure and the community is advised to call the 10111 line for all emergencies and complaints for the attention of the Diepsloot Police Station.
Until then, the community will be informed about the dates of the station’s resumption for duty while in the meantime decontamination is underway.
Management at that station have offered their apologies for the inconveniences which may arise from these break.
