The body of a 26- year old man Netshisaulu Phathutshedzo who went missing two weeks ago at Tshitavha village outside Thohoyandou was found hanging from a tree in the bush. His disappearance sparked violent community unrest leading to roads being blocked with stones and burning tree branches.
He went missing on Friday 21 August 2020 after he reportedly told his mother that he was going to the shop and never returned.
Limpopo police spokesperson Brigadier Motlalefa says three suspects aged between 22 and 31 were arrested on charges of public violence following the community unrest and will appear in the Thohoyandou Magistrate court soon.
