A local businesswoman, 55 and her mother, 70, were attacked and killed at their house in Polokwane, Welgelegen on Thursday 10 last night according to the SAPS.

When their neighbour was paying them a visit after six in the evening last night he allegedly became shocked to discover traces of blood without any occupants inside the house.
