Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau is set to be unveiled as the new Al Ahly Player before the end of the week.
Tau has been a target for the Reds for a while now after Pitso Mosimane had previously hinted that he will be bringing a player from South Africa to Al Ahly’s ranks.
On Thursday morning, a video of him juggling the ball at Al Ahly’s home ground made rounds on the net. He has since been trending and fans are convinced that he is in Egypt although the team has not said anything officially.

Tau and Mosimane previously worked together at Mamelodi Sundowns before the left-footer joined Brighton in 2018.
While contracted to Brighton, Tau spent a number of seasons on loan in Belgium at Union SC (2018-19) and Club Brugge (2019-20) as he struggled to get a UK work permit. He was recalled by Brighton earlier this year.
The left-footer has since been trending on social media.
Meanwhile, Tau was included in Bafana Bafana’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
South Africa are set to face Ghana and Zimbabwe in their opening qualifiers for Qatar 2022 next month and after initially selecting a squad comprising of 31 players, it has now been trimmed to 23.
