Thulani Hlatswayo has welcomed the arrival of Olisa Ndah at the club even though it means stiff competition in defence
The Ghanian center-back arrived at Orlando Pirates from King Faisal last month, adding to Mandla Ncikazi options at the back.
Hlatswayo, who has been a mainstay in the Buccaneer’s defence alongside captain Happy Jele, faces a battle to keep his number this season.
He is however ready to fight and says he understand what it means to play for a club of Orlando Pirates caliber.
“I think it’s great I play in one of the Africa’s biggest clubs and it’s clear that you want good players.
“It’ll always be a competitive situation. I only see it as positive that we get good players into the club.
“It will only develop us. For my own part, I see no problem with it. Sometimes I may not play a match but, for me, it does obsoletely nothing, Hlatswayo told EBNewsDaily.
Pirates’ next game is against Swallows at Orlando Stadium on Saturday Kick-off: 15:00.
