Cape Town City midfielder Mpho Makola has been given two months ban by the Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee.
This after the midfielder appeared to have manhandled assistant referee Claydwin Baloyi during the MTN8 penalty shootout defeat against Mamelodi Sundowns in October last year.
Makola alongside goalkeeper Hugo Marques were seen confronting the match officials after the final whistle as they thought Sundowns goalkeeper Dennis Onyango appeared to have moved off his line during the penalty kicks.
The Citizens chairman John Comitis confirmed that Makola would be out of action for two months following the ban.
