Born on the 28th of January 1988, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known by his stage name AKA is a prolific rapper, songwriter, record producer, and entrepreneur in South Africa.
His fans know AKA as SupaMega, Bhova, Mega, and Bhovamania. The rapper gained prominence after releasing his “Victory Lap” single, a track from his debut album “Alter Ego” in 2011.
AKA has, sincme his debut gone on to release top-notch songs and studio projects that have gone platinum over time. In addition, the rapper recently launched his online T.V. station with the name AKATV, which can be accessed on various mobile devices.
AKA has collaborated with various top artists in the S.A. Hip-hop game. He has also performed on stage with international and local artists and created a unique brand for himself.

AKA is originally from Western Cape, Cape Town. The rapper was raised by his grandmother in Michell’s plain, and 1995, he moved to Johannesburg to stay with his mother, Lynn Forbes.

The rapper flew in from Johannesburg in to Durban on February 10 for his birthday party, which was scheduled to hold in Yugo Nightclub.
AKA promoted the show on his social media page as he asked fans to show up. Before he was killed, AKA had gone to a fish restaurant on Florida road with some friends and his bodyguard.
He posted his location on his Instagram page. After the meal, he stepped outside the restaurant and was shot.
