Mahungela convicted of murdering Kirsten Kluyts

The Johannesburg High Court has found Bafana Mahungela guilty of murdering teacher Kirsten Kluyts in October 2023. He was also convicted of attempted rape, robbery with aggravating circumstances and defeating the ends of justice. Sentencing proceedings are set for 27 October.

CEF outlines plan to restore Sapref

The Central Energy Fund has presented a three-phase plan for the former Sapref refinery in Durban.
