Milford FC beat Richards Bay 5-1 in KwaZulu-Natal

Milford FC recorded a 5-1 Betway Premiership win over Richards Bay FC at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Durban on Sunday.

The newly promoted side's emphatic victory moved it into fifth place on the league table, according to SABC Sport.

The result continues Milford's strong start in the top flight and gives the club one of the largest winning margins of the Premiership season so far.

Arrows held in Bloemfontein

In another league match, Siwelele and Golden Arrows drew 1-1 in Bloemfontein.

Siwelele had a goal disallowed after the referee ruled that the Golden Arrows goalkeeper had been infringed.

The draw left Siwelele in 14th place with three points from seven matches. Golden Arrows moved into the top eight on seven points.

Milford's win was the standout result of Sunday's domestic programme, with the newcomers scoring five against an established KwaZulu-Natal opponent.
